The Comox Valley Classic Cruisers auto club present a cheque to Bike Squad members, for their support and First Aid coverage of the Comox Valley Auto Swap Meet in May 2009. Funds raised by the Bike Squad will be donated as cash and equipment to the Pediatrics Ward of St. Joseph's Hospital in Comox at the end summer 2009. Funds raised to date total over $1000.

Club Service Director, Dodie Brand, presented a cheque for $4,008 to Leslie Barns and Ryan Thorburn of the Comox Valley Paramedic Volunteer Bike Squad. Eight sets of wet-weather gear have been suppled to the squad by the club.

The team attended the three day Big Time Out Concert in Cumberland in August. There were up to 4000 people at the event each day
